Monaco Grand Prix Hublot does the double this weekend

"Official Timekeeper" for Scuderia Ferrari and sponsor of the charity football match between F1 drivers and VIPs
La Cote des Montres - May 21st, 2015

On Tuesday 19th May, the eve of the first practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix, one of Europe’s most popular charity football matches kicked off at 7 pm at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.

Under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, two prestigious teams, "AS Star Team MC" and "Formula One Drivers", competed in aid of the Novak Djokovic Foundation and an African project led by the "Star Team for Children".

Among others, AS Star Team MC includes HSH Prince Albert II, Pierre Casiraghi, Louis Ducruet, Tetsuya Harada, Novak Djokovic and David Ginola, who faced a team of F1 drivers featuring Felipe Massa, Kevin Magnussen, Giancarlo Fisichella and others, with Michel Pont as coach.

As in the World Cup, the referee’s boards on the touchline featured the Hublot name, with the advertising panels around the pitch displaying the watch brand’s signature black and white livery. Hublot appeared on all of the players’ shirts.

During the Grand Prix weekend, the Hublot brand will have an unmissable presence across the principality. Hublot’s stylised H will once again be emblazoned across the Monacair landing pad at Monaco heliport, the point of arrival for the VIPs and Grand Prix drivers, including Scuderia Ferrari’s Sébastien Vettel.

The new "Official Timekeeper" campaign for Scuderia Ferrari will also feature more than 90 banners throughout Monaco city centre.

Led by CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, the Swiss watch brand will reveal a new, different and unique side, reflecting the characteristics which inspire all of its projects.
