The winds on Lake Geneva are unpredictable. From a gentle breeze to high winds, Lake Geneva is known for its thermals which can change dramatically in the course of a day’s racing, spanning all four seasons in one day. Considered to be the most important race in international sailing, the Bol d’Or Mirabaud attracts experienced sailors and amateurs alike, and the race brings together multihulls (D35, M2, Easy to Fly, etc.) monohulls, monotypes and prototypes, all driven by this same passion for water and limit-testing. A game of patience and strategy, everyone agrees that the Bol d’Or Mirabaud is the most complicated regatta of the year to win. It is a race which has become iconic.

Measuring 45 mm in diameter and powered by the HUB 1143 movement, it offers a 42-hour power reserve – long enough to finish the race even with no wind (the slowest time on record is 31 hours and 54 minutes). It features a grey dial with sunray satin-finish and two blue chronograph counters, which are circular-grained satin-finished, at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock.
