This small watch is the latest addition to the range, following on from the Star Open, the chronograph that has become the feminine symbol of ZENITH Manufacture the world over. Whilst the larger version reveals a beating heart with the escapement of the El Primero chronograph, the Baby Star Open Love houses in its case reduced to 32 mm the new Elite 68 automatic movement. A design reminiscent of love, valiantly beating and exhibiting with pride the small heart-shaped second hand revolving in one minute. Round like the curvaceous shapes of femininity, it suggests a newly released version of the music of passion: a removable strap in satin silk, oversized numerals, a plumpier heart and a softer looking case. Reduced in size but just as passionate, it tenderly speaks of love.

To the bright colours in the range – passionate red, deep black or luminous white - for a limited series in 2006, we have added sandy beige, Parma violet and ZENITH brown, both for Star and Baby Star. For the version in yellow or rose gold, the dial is animated by the pleated sun silk and a shimmer of iridescence dances under the sapphire glass. The bezel is enriched by an eye-shaped diamond pattern that inflames desire…..
