Hublot Chrono “St Valentin”

A rubber and love looks for the new “St Valentin” chronograph
La Cote des Montres - December 30th, 2005

The new Hublot range breathes new life into the brand by giving it a new dimension in keeping with Hublot’s unique, timeless sense of design and fully in line with the new Hublot concept of Fusion.

A rubber and love looks for the new “St Valentin” chronograph which unveils a burgundy “flammé” dial decorated with delightful multi ghost hearts, large Arabic numerals and small «minuterie » numbers, while the minute hand is finished with an arrow turning around the dial, and further protected by a double anti-reflection crystal.

The chrono “St Valentin” is realized in steel treated with black PVD and an enlarged bezel in black rubber, with 12 larger titanium polished and sunken screws.

A screw-down crown, obviously made of natural rubber, with its two rubber ‘UPTS’® chronograph push-pieces fitted with lockable rings, resolve the problem of water-resistance in chronographs once and for all.

On the technical side, a translucent crystal back leaves open to view the Dubois Depraz mechanical movement with automatic winding mechanism, enhanced by the addition of a Flyback with new oscillating weight sporting the colours of the brand.

The "St Valentin" chronograph, water resistant to 100 metres, is equipped with the renowned black rubber strap which has symbolised the brand since its creation now made adjustable to fit instantaneously to the different wrist sizes without loosing any of its timeless comfort with a flawless functionality, an emblematic characteristic of Hublot watches. The strap is also completed with a new deployant clasp.

The new Hublot continues to display the tenacity, continuity, stability and insistence on quality that provide the key to its success.
