At the end of this competition, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the winner with its emblematic Reverso. Each model awarded to the winners of each stage of the Global Champions Tour is absolutely unique as it features an original illustration, engraved on the back of its pivoting case. It is a way of immortalising a memorable event and giving sentimental value to the watch, an integral part of its owner’s life.
Edwina Alexander, a Friend of Jaeger-LeCoultre, came tantalisingly close to achieving a major feat by qualifying once again for the jump-off. "So close and yet so far", she concluded philosophically. Coming third, she and her little Itôt achieved a fantastic performance. With this third position, the beautiful Australian rider increases her general ranking, with almost twenty points over her runners-up. She will have the opportunity of establishing her superiority at the Jumping de Monaco, scheduled in less than 10 days’ time.
The 2-times winner of the Global Champions Tour Edwina Tops-Alexander, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s aficionado, has ambitions goals for 2012 season with her legendary horse Itot du Chateau.
