Big Bang Chronographe “High Jewellery” - 18 K red gold & diamonds
‘Big Bang’, a fated name for a watch whose powerful statement enhances the singular, timeless design of the ultimate watchmaking brand: Hublot. In its latest version, the Big Bang chronograph responds to the challenge to combine a bold, dynamic, contemporary design with the most precious form of expression.

One year after the presentation and phenomenal success scored by the first Big Bang chronograph, Hublot now unveils the Big Bang ‘High Jewellery’ collection, available in steel or in 18 K red gold. The steel version of the Big Bang ‘High Jewellery’ chronograph, the pride of Hublot’s master gem-setters, offers a bezel set with 48 black or white baguette diamonds weighing a total of 2.80 K. Further accentuating the precious, exceptional nature of this timepiece, the case is set with 220 black or white round diamonds weighing a total of 1.83 K. For even greater refinement, the 18 K red gold version sports a bezel set with 48 white baguette diamonds weighing a total of 2.80 K and a case set with 220 black or white round diamonds weighing a total of 1.83 K.

The Hublot Big Bang ‘High Jewellery’ chronograph makes a bold statement with its 44.5 mm diameter case in steel or 18 K red gold and bezel in the same metal carrying 6 H-shaped titanium screws, sunken, polished, blocked. An interesting side profile interest is provided by a Kevlar insert, which makes it look as if the Hublot black natural rubber strap passes directly through the body of the chronograph, and by the multi-layered construction of its case, which creates an intricate interplay of materials.

On a technical note, the HUB44 mechanical chronograph movement with automatic winding mechanism, an exclusive Hublot movement developed in collaboration with the La Joux-Perret workshop, is open to view through a sapphire crystal encasing the steel or 18 K red gold back.

Big Bang Chronographe “High Jewellery” - steel & diamonds
Since it first burst onto the scene in Spring 2005, the Hublot Big Bang chronograph has gradually shattered the sometimes discreet aesthetics of the chronograph universe by imposing a futuristic vision of the timepiece. Unanimously acclaimed for its technical and design qualities, the Hublot Big Bang chronograph won the prize for ‘Best Design 2005’ at the Grand Prix of Geneva in November, ‘Best Oversize Watch’ in the Middle East at the Watch of the Year Award, and ‘Best Professional Sports Watch’ at the Watch of the Year Award 2005 in Japan. Such instant international recognition is proof of the spot-on futuristic vision of the brand, whose renaissance is symbolised by the Big Bang chronograph.
