Hanhart Pioneer Silva 38.5 mm Automatic
Hanhart Pioneer Silva 38.5 mm Automatic
Reduced to the essentials:
The new Pioneer Silva
Simple, modern and young
Silva: the Latin word for forest describes the origin of the new model, which from now on complements the Pioneer collection. In the deepest Black Forest, in the picturesque town of Gütenbach, the watchmakers of the more than 140 years old company Hanhart manufacture the new Pioneer Silva. With a diameter of 38.5 mm and a case height of 10 mm the watch is a great daily wear. The design is reduced to the essentials, sleek and flat. The uncluttered dial combines modern design with classic elements.
When it comes to design inspiration, it is never a bad idea to look to the past. The new Pioneer Silva is based on a model from the company’s own museum. The historical model Kal 36/39, named after the Hanhart caliber 36/39 with 15 jewels, served as a simple and clean historical template. The basic design has been reinterpreted in a modern way to create a more contemporary look.
Clear
and timeless
design
The clean dial and the straight-line hands offer perfect readability due to the contrast. The distinctive dots between the numerals were taken from the historical model. As with other Pioneer models, Hanhart relies on the historical logo on the dial of the Pioneer Silva. The watch thus picks up historical elements, but still translates them modern and young.
The polished stainless steel case measures a case diameter of 38.5 mm, a case height of 10 mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 44 mm. These dimensions make the watch perfect for everyday use. The crown bears the "h" of the historic Hanhart logo and the convex, internally anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects against scratches. The watch is water resistant up to 5 bar / 5 ATM.
To ensure that the latest watch from Hanhart not only looks good, but also runs precisely, the reliable automatic movement SW 200 from the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sellita works inside in the best Swiss-made quality. In addition to stop-seconds, it offers a power reserve of up to 38 hours. The movement with skeletonized Hanhart rotor can be admired through the screwed sapphire glass back.
On the wrist, a black calfskin strap or a Milanaise mesh strap ensures comfortable wear from day one. For added comfort, the black calfskin strap is lined with Alcantara on the inside. A buckle with the historic Hanhart logo ensures a secure fit.
Like the entire Hanhart collection, the Pioneer Silva is designed with functionality, quality and timeless aesthetics in mind. As one of the most important manufacturers of pilot’s watches in history, Hanhart continues to set itself the highest standards and is guided by the following maxims: unparalleled precision and reliability, perfect readability and simple, safe operation as well as the best possible robustness.
