The Polo Gold Cup Gstaad becomes the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad

The watchmaking brand already developed links with polo in 2007 by teaming up with the Saint-Tropez Polo Club and creating a limited edition of the Big Bang featuring the club logo. In 2008, it will be present at Gstaad as sponsor of one the tournaments of the World Ranking List ― at the “16-18 goals handicap” level. This means closer ties with the equestrian world, featuring the most important tournament on grass in Switzerland, which takes place every year in August on the airfield of the Bernese resort.
Hublot likes to meet with its clients, wherever they are. The Swiss watchmaker joins with them in their passion for car racing, sailing, football, or even jet piloting. As of this year, it’s polo which has conquered the brand ― this prestigious, spectacular and lively sport that symbolises the fusion between man and horse in an agile and elegant joust. The company will be involved not only as major sponsor of the tournament, but also with one of the four competing teams, which will wear its colours!

Today, the two men put their seal on the agreement, which will lead, among others, to the creation of a special Big Bang model, to be unveiled next year.
